Frequently asked questions:


  • Can I send a fountain pen that I already own for repair or customize the nib? At this moment we are too busy dealing with the orders we get from this store, so do not have time for more work.


  • Which nib is compatible with TWSBI Eco? TWSBI fits their own nibs even if they are made by other nib manufacturers, this means the shape is not the same as other nibs. It is a size 5 nib, not 4, not 5.5. You can try to fit a Jowo 5 or Bock 180 using the original TWSBI feeder, but you will need to adjust it properly in order to make it work because each model has its own thickness and curvatures that have to match with the feeder design.


  • Will you be offering more TWSBI products soon? No, we have discontinued offering TWSBI products and do not have plans to reintroduce them again.


  • What is the thinnest regrind you do? We do EEEF or 0.1mm needlepoint. This tip is only for advanced users that can write very light on the paper, use good quality paper and know how to use a very thin tipped nib. 


  • Do you offer a cheaper shipping method like the national post? No, in our experience the chances of losing the parcels is too high with national post.


  • Do you have a shop where I can go to try your products? No, we only offer our products online.


  • Do you have a shop in other cities or countries? No, we do not have any physical stores, not in Spain or any other country.


  • Do you go to Pen Shows to offer your services or products? No, we normally do not go to pen shows.


  • Do you sell to other companies with an EU VAT number? Yes, FPnibs online store is prepared to introduce your number, it will check it and if ok the VAT will be removed from the order. We will issue an invoice for your company.


  • I have chosen Black Ruthenium plating but it is not black, why? In jewelry there is no precious metal that is totally black, they are dark grey even if they are called black. When you see a blacked nib it is because it is PVD coated of black oxidized. We do not offer any of those 2 finishes and they are not platings.


  • You offered ebonite feeders before, are you offering them soon? No, we are not offering them as spare parts, only as an option in nib units.


  • How long does it take for you to process a customized nib? It depends on how much work it needs to be done, but most of the time it only gets 2 or 3 days.


  • Do you offer discount codes or promotions? We offer some discount for product quantity, check our PROMOTIONS page you will find  in the menu at FPnibs.com

 

  • When buying from outside the EU zone, do I pay VAT or taxes? No, our store is prepared to remove the VAT from the products if the shipping address is outside the EU. When buying inside the EU, each country has its own VAT %, our store is prepared to calculate and apply accordingly to the shipping address.

 

  • Do I need an Oblique nib? If you rotate the pen either because is the way you hold it or because you are writing some type of calligraphy, then you may need an Oblique. We have a video on Youtube explaining that.

 

  • Do you ship worldwide? We do not ship to some countries for various reasons like high risk of loosing or rejection the parcels.
