There's a really nice ink window that hides underneath the cap. The Optima has Aurora's special reservoir that allows you to get another page or so of writing even when you think you've run out of ink. You just unscrew the piston knob and that releases enough ink to let you finish your thoughts.

Aurora Optima Mini Fountain Pen Black comes with chrome trims and is a piston filler. It is enhanced with a 14K solid gold nib made inhouse by Aurora. 

It comes packaged in a nice and elegant leatherette gift box.
