IMagin Japan was founded in Kyoto in 1981.

From the Land of the Rising Sun, IMagin Japan offers a wide variety of Japanese-designed products—including items for writing, drawing, accessories, and more.

-The AKASHIYA natural bamboo brush is crafted from carefully selected, authentic Mon-Chiku bamboo—the same material used for the handles of traditional, artisanal brushes from Nara.

-A lacquer-style finish is applied to the natural bamboo handle; it is available in black (*Akebono* lacquer style) and red (*Nekuri* lacquer style).

-The brush tip is handcrafted by an artisan using durable synthetic bristles, with each brush produced through a high-quality manufacturing process.

-It uses water-based, pigment-rich ink (black/charcoal) that produces a pure, deep black—reminiscent of traditional *sumi* ink. Once dry, the ink is water-resistant and fade-resistant, making it ideal for long-term preservation.

-The ink cartridge is replaceable, allowing for long-term use.

How to use:

-Remove the cap, then twist the nozzle section counter-clockwise to detach it. Carefully insert the ink cartridge, aligning its opening with the top of the nozzle section.

-Upon first use, insert the cartridge and keep the brush tip pointed downward until the ink begins to flow. Please note: shaking the brush to speed up ink flow may cause the ink to spill.

-Once the ink reaches the tip, test it on paper; begin writing only after the ink flow has stabilized.

Caution: Please read the manual included in the packaging before use to ensure proper handling.
