Platinum Vicoh Kanazawa Maki-e The Moon And A Rabbit. 18k Gold Nib

Platinum Vicoh fountain pen.

In the world of fine writing instruments, a name is not merely a label; it is a direction. Vicoh is the modern expression of that direction—a short, seemingly Western name built upon profound Japanese concepts. It represents a synthesis of vision, essence, and balance. Vicoh evokes not a nostalgic past, but a mindful present. This is the range where Platinum makes a clear statement: writing still matters today, but it must be viewed in a new light.

Kanazawa Gold Leaf – gold that does not merely shine, but watches over.

In the Kanazawa region, for over four centuries, gold has been transformed into sheets so thin they seem to breathe. The Kanazawa-haku technique is not about opulence, but discipline. The gold is beaten, rolled, and applied by hand using fine brushes—a ritual demanding stillness. In the hands of artisans, the gold becomes controlled light rather than mere glitter.

In the Vicoh finishes, this gold does not dominate; it supports. It creates a space where the story can unfold.
