The “Iris Nebula” is a reflection nebula in the constellation Cepheus, a cold interstellar cloud of dust and gas that does not emit light itself but reflects light from nearby stars.

It is named the “Iris Nebula” because it looks like a flower blooming in space.

The Sailor Iris Nebula is made of PMMA resin with rhodium plated trim. It is fitted with a 14K gold with rhodium plating nib. 

The filling system is Sailor's excellect cartridge-converter design - pens can be filled with bottled ink using the provided converter, and can also use Sailor brand ink cartridges.
